Taman Sinar Harapan, Kuala Kubu Bharu Charity Drive



A Charity Drive to Taman Sinar Harapan, Kuala Kubu Bharu (TSH KKB) was organized in conjunction with the Salcon Family Day 2011 at Fraser's Hill, Pahang. TSH KKB is home to 200 severely mentally and physically disabled residents of whom 180 are bedridden. The centre provides shelter, care, rehabilitation and training including physical therapy for its residents.


The charity drive includes getting the employees involved in terms of donation in kind and cash as well as organizing a visit to the TSH KKB.  During the one week pledge for donation, the SRC team managed to collect the sum of RM2,585 in cash, adult diapers, rice, biscuits, dettol solution, milk powder and sugar. Tan Sri Dato’ Tee Tiam Lee donated RM1,500 in cash followed by Salcon HQ with RM550 and sundry items, Envitech with RM440, Seremban NRW office, Sg. Terip and Kuala Jelai Site with RM95 and sundry items.  Salcon Centrimax also donated some sundry items.

Thank you for your generous contribution, all donations were successfully handed over to the centre’s administrator on 26 February 2011. Your kindness generosity helps the less fortunate to live better!
