Salcon employees together with their family members had a great Family Day with their loved ones at the multi-award winning attraction – Sunway Lagoon on 18 February 2012. A total of 439 participants enjoyed cooling down in the tropical sun at Water Park, thrilling rides at Amusement Park and getting up close and personal with their favourite animals at Wild Life Park in Sunway Lagoon, making it the biggest ever Family Day for Salcon.
Upon registration, participants took part in Guess the Bean for Charity by donating RM1 for every guess of total number of beans in a bottle. A total ofRM89 was collected and all the proceeds will be donated to charity organization to be identified. Meanwhile, the winners brought home 4 entry tickets to Sunway Lagoon. Congratulations to Muhammad Iman Firdaus (son of Norhashim) & Ain Norisa (daughter of Badrul Hisham).
All participants were welcomed by Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Ooi Cheng Swee followed by Excellent Education Award presentation by Deputy Chairman, Tan Sri Dato’ Tee Tiam Lee. Congratulations to the award recipients below:

Tan Sri Dato’ Tee also gave away a trophy & cash prize of RM500 to Salcon Environmental Services Sdn Bhd (SESSB) – winner of Salcon Challenge Trophy. The company’s staff have been participated actively and won the most prizes in badminton, bowling & futsal tournament in 2011.
The children and adults participated in the fun-filled five dry and wet telematch games Free and easy session started after lunch hour. We do hope everyone had a fun time and enjoyed the activities organized!
