QA/QC Department - Ensuring the Quality Management System

Quality Assurance/ Quality Control Department (QA/QC) which assists in implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (ISO9001:2008) in the corporate office and at the project sites.

QA/QC Department is responsible for providing guidance in the form of ISO 9001:2008 Induction Awareness and Quality procedural training, planning Quality activities ensuring compliance to the ISO 9001:2008 requirement, conduct Internal Quality Audits for all departments and project site as well as reviewing internal audit findings and recommendations for improvements to the management systems.

In addition, the department also assists in the implementation, coordination and monitoring of planned quality issues at project sites.QA/QC Department also liaise with certification bodies such as Bureau VERITAS to ensure that Salcon Engineering Berhad comply to the ISO 9001:2008 QMS requirement.

Corporate Affairs Department - the Gateway of Corporate Information & Dissemination

the Corporate Affairs Department which is the gateway of corporate information and dissemination. Its roles and responsibilities are to ensure that communications between various stakeholders such as the management, employees, clients, investors and community are well maintained and enhanced to attain sustainable development.

The department is responsible in building up a good image of the company by working on 3 main areas i.e. Investor Relations (IR), Public Relations (PR) and Corporate Responsibility (CR).

a)      Investor Relations (IR): Generating & sustaining positive interest in Salcon as an investment of choice and instilling investor confidence in management & its people
b)      Public Relations (PR): Project Salcon’s image as the premier water and wastewater company in the region through positive influence of stakeholder perceptions of Salcon, consistent & clear communication with external and internal audiences and effective, accurate & relevant information presented
c)      Corporate Responsibility (CR): Fulfill Salcon’s social responsibility towards the community, marketplace, workplace and environment through related events/activities from time to time.

The Corporate Affairs Department is located in Salcon HQ – 15th Floor with total of 4 employees, they are:
