Recycle for a Greener Office

Preserving Mother Nature by living a greener lifestyle is not only limited at home, but also can be practice from the office. In Salcon, we believe we play a vital role in preserving the environment by promoting a greener lifestyle amongst our staff by paper recycling every month, annual spring cleaning and recycle for good cause and encouraging our staff to use eco-friendly bags.

Being as one of Salcon Corporate Responsibility core values, CR Team once again organized Salcon Annual Recycling Program which starts on 15th November 2012 till 14th December 2012. It is an initiative to serve as platform for Salcon staff to play their part in preserving the environment and Mother Nature. Engaging with several recycle organization such as Pertubuhan Amal Seri Sinar Kuala Lumpur & Selangor (P.A.S.S.), Tzu Chi Recycling Center, we managed to collect and gather things such as clothes, toys, DVD players, TV, LCD screen monitor, ice-cream maker, books and bags to recycle and reuse.

A Joyful Christmas with colleagues!

It was a joyful Christmas gathering with colleagues at Salcon HQ on 20th December 2012 (Thurs)!
The office was filled with a merry and cheerful atmosphere as most of the staff were wearing red or green on that day to match with the theme of the gathering.
The gathering was started at 12:30 pm with a short speech delivered by Dato’ Eddy Leong Kok Wah. ‘This is a meaningful event to bring the staff and the management together regardless of race or religion even though this is a Christmas gathering, to share Christmas joy with not only your family, but your colleagues as well. On behalf of the management, I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday,’ says Dato’ Eddy.
A Christmas gift exchange session was then carried out among staff members. Participants were cheered when receiving the present from each other. Thereafter, all staff enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch and brought the gathering to end.
